The Company
Founded in 1990, the compagne was born from the shared vision of three passionate shareholders:
two civils engineering technicians and an accountant. Together, they laid the foundations for a solid structure focused on rigor, technical expertise and sound financial management.
Between 1996 et 1997, a major turning point occurred when Raymond-Marie Girard bought out shares of his two co-owners. This acquisition marked the beginning of a phase of sustained growth.
From 1996 and 2003, the compagny experienced a significant increase in its staff, reflecting the constant development of its activities and the recognition of its expertise in the market.
In 2017, the compagny entered a new phase with the sucession of Sébastien Gagné. Drawing on his hard work and willingness to take challenges, he gradually took the reins of the organization, accompagnied by Mr Girard. This seamless transition ensures the continuity of our founding values while injecting new momentum into the future.
We use TEKLA Structures, and advanced steel structure software for precise and flexible modeling.
The Team
Sébastien Gagné, ing.
President
After 12 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, including as an officer, Sébastien obtained his bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). Always looking for new challenges, he decided in 2017 to take over Techn-O-Concept Inc., a recognized company specializing in the design of steel structures in Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean since 1990.
Also the owner of I.C.I. Entreprises SG (which includes Techn-O-Concept and Habitation SG), several other projects are still to come, particularly in the field of construction and renovation. Sébastien also holds his class 4 stationary mechanic license and a short program in entrepreneurship.
A hard worker, very disciplined, bilingual, he enjoys work obstacles and business.
Mohamed Abdelaziz
General Manager - TOC-MENA
MH Abdelaziz holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) and is an Assistant Professor at the French University in Egypt, specialized in Engineering design and manufacturing.
With more than ten years of experience in design and drafting services, he co-founded Egypt-based Techn-o-concept MENA to provide high-precision drafting and detailing solutions for steel structures and facades, ensuring industry accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Mohamed supports engineering firms, fabricators and contractors across the Gulf and international markets, providing reliable, accurate and timely design and drafting services using the latest software and industry standards.
